On January 8, 2020, a delegation of 8 members from the Michigan State University headed by Mr. Keith Lambert visited IMU for exchanges. The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Du Bin, vice director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Mr. Liu Yubiao, director of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange of the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Ms. Zhao Xiaofang, inspector of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Department of Education of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Present at the reception and the symposium on cooperation and exchanges between the two sides were Prof. Erhenbayaar, vice president of IMU, Prof. Mergen, principal of the School of Life Sciences of IMU, Prof. Hada from the School of Life Sciences of IMU, Prof. Liang Chengguang from the National Level Key Laboratory Jointly Built by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the State for the Control of the Reproduction and Breeding of Grassland Livestock, Prof. Liu Guodu from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of IMU, Associate Professor Zhao Ling from the School of Ecology and Environment of IMU, Associate Research Fellow Hou Jianjun from the School of Economics and Management of IMU, Lecturer Wu Jian from the Inner Mongolia Potato Engineering & Technology Research Center, Prof. Duan Manfu, director of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange of IMU and Ms. Sun Guiling, vice director of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange of IMU. The meeting was presided over by Prof. Duan Manfu, vice director of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange of IMU.
Prof. Erhenbayar, vice president of IMU, extended warm welcome to the delegation, gave a brief introduction to the history and present situation and the international cooperation and exchanges of IMU, and affirmed that the visit of the delegation would play an active role in promoting further cooperation and exchanges between IMU and American universities and scientific research institutes in the future.
